Hot German Potato Salad

Ingredients:

5 slices Marco's Indiana bacon
½ cup chopped celery
¼ cup chopped onion
4 tlbs. sugar
1 tlbs. flour
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. celery seed
1 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
5 medium potatoes
½ lb. smoked sausage from Marco's

Directions:

Boil potatoes till tender, cool and cut into cubes. Brown sausage drain, cool, chop and set aside. Fry bacon until very crisp remove from grease, cool and crumble. Pour most of bacon grease out of pan leaving enough to cook celery and onion until tender. Add sugar, flour, paprika, and celery seed to onion celery mixture. Gradually mix in water and vinegar and stir until thickened. Add potatoes, sausage and bacon and simmer 5-10 minutes. Serves 6-8 people

Italian Style Marinated Vegetables
Thaw and drain all vegetables

Ingredients:

1 8 oz. bottle of Italian dressing
1 10 oz. package of frozen sliced carrots
1 10 oz. package of frozen cauliflower
1 9 oz. package of frozen cut green beans
1 3 ¼ oz. can of ripe pitted olives drained
1 2 oz. jar pimento
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

Pour dressing over combined vegetables,
Cover and marinate overnight. Drain
Combine vegetable mixture and cheese mix lightly.
Sprinkle with additional dressing just before serving.
Serves 4-6

Oriental Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

1 4.9 oz. package of rice-a-roni chicken & broccoli flavor
2 whole Marco's boneless chicken breasts cooked and chopped
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup pea pods, halved lengthwise
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tlbs. soy sauce
¼ tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

Directions:

Prepare rice-a-roni as package directs, cool.
Add remaining ingredients mix well and chill.
Serves 6-8

Turkey Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

½ cup Mayonnaise
2 tlbs. Honey
¼tsp. ginger
2 cups cooked chopped turkey
1 11 oz. can mandarin orange segments (drained)
1 cup chopped apple
1 cup grape halves
1 8 oz. can pineapple chunks (drained)
½ cup toasted pecan halves or walnuts

Directions:

Combine mayonnaise,honey and ginger mix well, add remaining ingredients mix lightly. Season with salt to taste. Chill add additional mayonnaise if desired.
Serves 4-6
